The past 2 weeks have been the epitome of keeping my motivational head above water. Picture the emotion of desire and the feeling of purpose together on a life raft in the ocean, floating towards the island of paradise where what you need and want wait for you on the sand with a coconut smoothie in hand. That is what happens when you focus on the power of intention. I have to give you a refreshing sip of it this week!
Beyond the normalcy of the daily grind, I have openly and honestly been putting out a mantra and intention of personal abundance into the universe since March. This week the universe answered, as it always does in its own time, and even more opportunity and gratitude was placed upon me.
In as much as we have the capacity to dream, we also have the capacity to make those dreams a reality. We all go through times of need–whether it be emotional, spiritual or physical. A famous man once said, “To live is to suffer and to survive is to find meaning in the suffering.” A basic understanding of the cycle of life tells us that peaks and valleys will always be there, we know this since not every day is filled with puppy dogs, roses and ice cream.
What truly separates us from cows, chickens and pigs is our ability to roll with what life gives us and tap into our spirit. Now, I'm not saying that animals don't have a soul, rather that we are much more highly aware beings if we practice our awareness on a day to day basis. When bad things happen to you, you MUST find the good in them. Easier said than done I know, but the only way you will stay mentally fit is to justify the actions of the universe as lessons. In times of struggle, greatness and motivation are born. An opportunity to grow never happens without the pains of growth. My last 5 months have shown me that if you focus on what you truly want, when the universe is ready it will be yours!
Recent events truly make me realize why some clients succeed and some don't. It's not that they don't want it or deserve the change they seek, its just that when faced with the adversity for what they desire, they can't accept that what they want has already arrived! The ability to inspire isn't something your born with. A positive attitude isn't injected into your butt as a baby. The phrase “Keep your chin up” doesn't always apply unless you PRACTICE. The repetition of positive attitudes and gratitude will eventually yield positive results. You've got to get out there and try! Its merely just a case of numbers. We all have to stay more focused on enjoying life, rolling with the punches and developing the CAPACITY to accept what is rightfully ours- HEALTH, WELLNESS & HAPPINESS.
This month and into the fall, I challenge you to stay true to what you really believe in. Practice the acceptance of being well and happy in your progress towards what you want whether its a new body, a new job or a new place to live. It will happen! Say it to yourself in a mantra an believe it, hold it close and don't let others persuade you it isn't real. The reality of your life is what you create in the next 5 seconds in your head, not on some spreadsheet developed by someone who doesn't know how POWERFUL you really are.
In times of despair, turn to the vision of your dream, how you want to serve this broken planet and what you can do to make it a better place. Focus on the things you CAN control and leave the people and things you can't to walk their own journey. There is no room for them on your path right now. You are the master, its your time to shine whether 3 or 3000 people can see it. Burn baby burn.
“Wellness is the state that occurs when one’s complete health is balanced between the emotional, spiritual, and physical. We are all complete beings, and the loss of any one of these components makes us incomplete.” -J.C Santana
